Toro Sushi in Spokane Valley

Tasty sushi, the Sunset roll is my new favorite. Very consistent sushi and friendly staff. Great place for lunch too!

My go to sushi. Phenomenal sushi, Phenomenal service. They recently added sushi tacos and I've a few elsewhere and Toro's in definitely in my top two.

I'm not a sophisticated sushi diner but I tried 4 different dishes. All of them were really good. The restaurant was clean, and service was stellar. I'd recommend this place.

My girlfriend and I love this place. The monkey brains appetizer is delicious. I usually get the double tiger. Absolutely amazing. The girlfriend gets Fancy. Also delicious. The service is great. I've really grown to love this place.

I like some things here. Udon is ok. Some of the sushi is very delicious. Staff is usually helpful and friendly. Last visit though they seemed overwhelmed. There were open tables but we were told there was a wait. All that needed to happen is move a few chairs. I have been in the industry long enough that I know mediocre service. A little time supporting and training staff would go a long way to improve our experience. I feel like I want to continue getting to go orders of the sushi we like instead of waiting for staff to realize what needs to happen next for good service. Seriously awesome sushi chefs they were moving fast and on top of all the orders. Great presentation, fresh ingredients.

We ordered a catetpillar roll, spider roll, tootsie roll, toro special, super volcano, Louisiana roll, and philedelphia roll with vegetable tempura and gyoza. Wow just wow. We are from Seattle and this place has Seattle beat. Their quality, their quantity, service in the restaurant, comfort and setting is absolutely outstanding. There is even a call button for service on the table if immediate assistance is required however unnecessary as they are very attentive. I am so very excited to have such an amazing sushi restaurant near me and will be returning very soon.

We were given our soup long before our drinks. And then after waiting a while our main course was brought out. Mind you we had ordered an appetizer. We were told as our main food was being put on the table,. Oh sorry we were out of the appetizer you wanted. . I would have expected to have been told this when I ordered it or shortly after. As it would have been nice to have been asked if maybe we would have liked to have tried another appetizer option. The food was great mind you. But the lack of attention to customer needs countered that. And yes it was busy but I've served a larger space by myself in the day and did fine.

Absolutely phenomenal choices, perfect portion sizes, and EXCELLENT customer service. I enjoy every visit I make here.

Gyoza was honestly the best me and my husband gave ever had. Sushi was amazing, staff was friendly and fast with service. Prices are normal for a sushi place and the food and whole expierence altogether was absolutely amazing!

We eat here every few months and it's always great. Only reason for the 4 stars is because the rolls are sometimes not rolled tightly and end up falling apart. Other than that I have no complaints

It is my 2nd time at Toro Sushi after the first time went there to me, and most of my friends, their foods is not bad than other places we had gone in the past, so we decided to go again. Besides that, their customer services were impressive as they were asking us whether we need anything every 15 minutes or so. Also, other sushi places usually forgot to bring us miso soup before the meal, and we always have to ask for it, but it didn't happen here. All together even though the price just a little high than some places but I think it's worth the price because the foods are safe, fast serving and waiters are friendly. I've had a comfortable atmosphere with friends and family!!

Absolutely amazing sushi! Our young kids devoured the calamari appetizer. All of the staff was exceptional, friendly, and attentive. Our son had chicken yakisoba, sweet and delicious. Our daughter had the California Roll, she loved it! We had the Dragon, Dynamite, Kamikaze and Candy Rolls! The Candy roll was unbelievable. Small slice of jalapeño on the top is the PERFECT touch!!!

Food was excellent. The care for the lives and health of others, not so much. We went their on 6/25/20 at 6 pm. Food was very good and the waiters were nice, however none of the almost half dozen back kitchen staff and cooks were wearing masks. These are the people that are constantly touching and preparing our food, and NONE of them were wearing face coverings. We asked a manager about it and were told they would only wear one when it became mandatory. Think about that, they only care about others lives when it is forced on them. Do you really want to eat at a restaurant that has little regards for human life? I certainly don't, and I hope you will consider boycotting this restaurant until they show a thread of human decency.Btw: all the waiters and waitresses were wearing masks. Good job for them

Nicely remodeled. The servers provide excellent service with a beautiful smile. The food, "delicious", and very well presented. Great experience over all.

Really great food and really awesome staff. Everyone was so nice.I love spicy food but I have to admit I got a little in over my head with the Diablo Roll (second picture).It tasted fantastic but it was just a bit too spicy for my taste.The miso soup was amazing and so was the sushi. Will definitely be going back sometime to try something new!!

Phenomenal service every time we go. The sushi selection is diverse enough to not be overwhelming, the flavors are solid, and the staff is welcoming. This is our new go to sushi location in the valley.

Good place. A little spendy for what you get in my opinion but I love sushi so I'm biased. There was a bit of a communication issue with the server's but it didn't bother me. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. I enjoy the cucumber water they have. The menus have seen better days, which made the place feel tackier. Ambiance is nice and the food is good.

I've been here a few times trying rolls. Most all are exceptional, quality fish and they know how to make it. A variety you'll find favorites and like the rest. Haven't been dispointed yet.

Clean atmosphere. Friendly staff. Great menu selection. Prime quality fish for sushi. Take out sat too long. Recommend eating in the restaurant for maximum freshness.

Love the sushi choices! You can get so many rolls for cheap. I like their cocktails a lot and they use some Japanese alcohol! Good was delicious!

Very friendly staff and cleanly restaurant. The sushi is not worth the price; most of the house rolls are just California rolls with toppings.

Little overpriced for sushi. Very low quality fish and craftsmanship. No skill was involved and you can really tell. Also the tuna tastes very fishy and pungent like it was old or something. The Caterpillar roll they cheap out and use very little eel. Instead they fill with more fishy tasting pungent tuna. The servers were very nice though..

I eat myself silly every time I go here. If you are not familiar with sushi it helps to find the menu online first to get a good idea of what is offered before you go or you will spend a lot of time trying to decide what type of sushi to get. The ambiance is pleasant and cozy, slightly modern, the staff are friendly and accommodating. They are very happy to answer any questions you have and make recommendations if you aren't certain. There are non-seafood options for the person in your group who can't or won't eat seafood but still wants to come along. I have never had a poorly made dish, everything has been fresh, flavorful and beautifully plated. I try to get something different each time I go. Tonight I tried seaweed salad for the first time and it was delightful!

I've come here for my birthday two years in a row. The portions are just right, the sushi always tastes very clean, and the rice is killer. It's one of the top three sushi restaurants in the Spokalanefalls metro area, easy.

Their great rating is well deserved, trust me! Their sushi is always very fresh, very well made, and of course very delicious. They are super quick for to-go orders, and their atmosphere in the restaurant is laid back and relaxing. We have ordered from them on a few occasions now, and will definitely continue to order more!

Best best calamari I ever had!!!!! Tender delicious rings with a light crispy coating comes with a perfect slightly sweet dipping sauce! Looking forward to coming here on our next visit.

Best Japanese food we've had outside of Japan. Fresh authentic Japanese dishes, well prepared, and we didn't have to wait long for our food. Beautiful presentation for our dishes as well, and really good atmosphere. Very good experience! Thank you!
